Director of Development and Grant Writer

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Director of Development and Grant Writer at PRISONERS FOR CHRIST OUTREACH MINISTRIES (PFC). The role involves creating compelling grant proposals, planning and implementing fundraising strategies, managing annual and planned giving programs, major donor development, managing donor relationships throughout the year, missions board development and celebrity cultivation. The position allows for some flexibility with remote work.

Qualifications

• Proven proficiency in fund raising
• Knowledge in Planned giving
• Strong skills in grant writing
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices and donor stewardship
• At least three years in the industry
